The 2020 fashion trends are giving us such nostalgic vibes! Fashion from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s are making a comeback and it’s evident that it’s here to stay.

As you probably know, we are approaching a new decade and we’re here to keep you updated for what’s hot in fashion for this lovely new decade!

Do you have old clothes from the ’60s to ’80s? Or perhaps you have something from your Mom? Because I know I do! And I still use them!

“What you wear is how you present yourself to the world, especially today when human contacts are so quick. Fashion is instant language.” —Miuccia Prada

You don’t need to spend a lot of money to be on trend. Now… here are the 2020 fashion trends revealed!

  1. Denim Skirts

Denim skirts are here for a comeback.  This skirt actually reminds me of the 90’s back when I was in grade school listening to the Spice Girls! This denim skirt is all-around wear.

You can wear it on a casual day or wear it to work and pair it with white sleeves and heels, and you’re good to go!

You can buy the exact denim skirt in the photo on Amazon here

2. Pleated Skirt

Pleats are coming in hot this year, from mini skirt pleats to an entire dress in pleats, metallic pleats. Wear them this year and watch the “OMG, I love it, where’d you get that?” comments surge.

You can wear this with heels, sneakers, sandals, slippers, anything! Wear this at work or on date night and you’ll look absolutely stunning and feel comfortable.

3. Polka-Dots

Polka dots have been around since the ’80s and earlier and they just keep coming back! Polka dots are attention-grabbing and whimsical at the same time.

This dress from Amazon is so flattering, with ruffles strategically placed to perfection. It’s also extremely comfortable.

4. Puffy Sleeves

I remember wearing a top similar to this in 2008 and it looked flattering, giving my whole outfit an edge.

If you wanted to feel extra, a voluminous and dramatic sleeve will add oomph to your ensemble. It will give life to your plain jeans.

5. Leather

Leather blazers, skirts, and dresses are one of the 2020 fashion trends. Gone are the days where you have to endure wearing heavy and uncomfortable leathers.  Faux leather is also on trend.

It’s faux leather so it’s lightweight and comfortable, once you get your hands on it you’ll wear it all year!

6. Crochet Dresses

Crocheted design is also making the comeback, which is a ’60s classic. You can make it as a top cover, beach cover, or layer them on a shirt.

You can also buy crocheted dress, such as this one on Amazon. Wear them on a breezy Sunday morning.

7. Billowy Dresses

Billowy dresses remind us of the carefree days of summer.  The exquisite layered design makes you appear taller.  They are also loose and flowy for great comfort.

This design is about to be absolutely everywhere—don’t miss out!

Straw bags have gained popularity in 2019 since Bali, Indonesia became a popular tourist destination.  It is a favorite for travelers and wanderlust!

The lightweight material is a summer staple. You can pair them with jeans, dresses, and skirts.

You don’t have to be on the beach to feel like you’re at the beach.  Wear this and you’ll see what I mean.

Chunky belts are everywhere.  Belts look great on billowy dresses, blazers and more! Options are limitless. It’s an accessory that everyone must try once in their life.

Soon enough, you will see almost everyone wearing a belt this 2020!

11. Unique Bra Tops

Zendaya wore this “chrome breastplate” on the Critic’s Choice Awards red carpet, paired with a floor-length metallic skirt by Tom Ford and everyone went crazy!

However, we can’t find this custom piece anywhere.  Since bra tops are in, we’ve got some suggestions that you can get on Amazon.

If you want to feel extra sparkly, here’s a bedazzling bustier top!

Or, if you want to keep it simple, here’s a best seller on Amazon.
