Aromatherapy and scents are ancient remedies to enhance mood and emotional well-being.
Time-tested and effective, they are a simple, natural, and effective way to get balanced and feel good throughout your day.
♥ What scents do you love? ♥
You are unique
You have your own unique scent; if you were to recreate your own aroma, it would be as one-of-a-kind as your fingerprint. Also, your special scent would smell different on different people. Strange. Freaky. Extraordinary. Inspirational. And true.
What’s so great is that aromatherapy and scents is about using nature and self-expression together. Your scent is not my scent and my favorite scent will likely not help you the same way that your favorite scent will.
Individually, we are uniquely attracted to specific scents that are just right for us at different points in our lives. More proactively, we can use scent to express a particular feeling or aspect of our personalities.
Self-care
With aromatherapy and scents, you can find balance, affirmation, and joy. These are essential for self-care.
Think of a scent that makes you feel uplifted and carefree. Find ways to incorporate it into your daily life. Some ways to include aromatherapy and scents in each day include your use of:
- Candles
- Incense
- Fragrance
- Flowers
- Herbs
- Lotions and body creams
- Bath oils and salts
- Essential oils
- Bodywash and soaps
- Shampoo and hair products
Daily routine
Your aromatherapy and scents daily routine can become your favorite healthy self-care habit.
You can burn candles and incense every day. I find both peace and joy when doing this. Plus, I make incense, teas, fragrances, and herbal mixtures.
The incense line, Ocean Dream, is inspired by the SEA: Sisterhood Empowerment Academy on St. John. In addition to providing aromatherapy benefits, they inspire people to shop for a worthy cause.
When I make these products, I feel like an alchemist conjuring a magic potion; each of the products that I make has very specific, purposeful aromatic properties. I recognize the Goddess in me when I make my own fragrances and body oils.
You can spritz yourself with something beautiful, wonderful, sweet, and powerful all the time.
And, when you need some extra pampering, add flower petals like roses and peonies to your bath water. Of course, you can use salts, herbs, and oils in your bath water, too.
It’s wonderful and empowering!
