During Sisterhood Agenda’s last Community Giveaway, we gave away over 300-plus items of clothing and shoes, which are valued at over $20,000. Last year we gave over five hundred items valued at over $32,ooo. Our Community Giveaway is just one way that Sisterhood Agenda loves to help the community.

During this year’s Community Giveaway, we gave away more laptop computers.
Sisterhood Agenda was also able to give away 4 laptops.
With the help of our Youth Team members, we were able to set up the event in a timely manner giving more time for people to sort through and secure giveaway items.
Sustainable Garden Expo
Sisterhood Agenda also held a Garden Expo at the giveaway this year; this is relatively new.
The Garden Expo involved education on garden and plant life along with sustainable native plants, garden design, water conversion, and farm-to-table.
We always get asked when these events will take place. Sisterhood Agenda collects donated items throughout the year from the community, partners, agencies, and people willing to donate. We aim to do Community Giveaways whenever possible, at least once every year. They are primarily held in the summer as the back-to-school season begins.
