How we define success in business and in life is key to our happiness.

This article is a reminder for everyone who is working hard in their business right now, even if it seems like other people are having an easier time.

Remember this: there will undoubtedly be periods in your business when you can’t see any end in sight. When you’re exhausted and asking if it is worth it. IT IS!

Know your values

Success is a funny word. It means many different things to different people.  We have grown up in a society where we value MONEY, MOVING UPWARDS (always upwards), and BEING BUSY.

Our working environment is a leftover relic of the Industrial Revolution. But success is not static. And times are changing.

Success should change and evolve based on where you are in your life and career, as well as what you value. No view of success is right or wrong; it’s just got to mean something to you at that point in time.

Don’t let the coronavirus be the defining factor of your year… there’s still a lot of 2020 left.

Define success for yourself, not others

Success isn’t is a by-product of changing the goal post or sacrificing big dreams for something more “realistic.”

Success is a result of dedication and hard work.

If you’re committed to being successful in your goals, then you have to get comfortable with pivoting and trying new strategies.

Today, we want to remind you that it’s not about moving the goal post or sacrificing your desires for what you think is achievable.  Don’t give up on your dreams.

Success is about applying yourself, getting crystal clear on your vision, and being open to trying lots of different things until your goals become your reality.

Do you agree?
