Angela D. Coleman, Ìbíyínká Oladojá Oyèwọlá, is a nonprofit executive, social entrepreneur, and scholar-practitioner dedicated to transforming communities through innovation, systems-level thinking, and equity-centered solutions.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Princeton University and an Masters in Business Administration. Angela also holds various degrees, certifications, and credentials from Harvard Medical School, Duke University, New York University, and other esteemed institutions. As the founder and long-time President of Sisterhood Agenda, Angela has spent over three decades developing programs, publications, and community models that promote empowerment, resilience, and sustainable well-being.
She is a published author of more than twenty books on holistic health, personal transformation, and community leadership. Angela combines strategic insight with real-world experience to equip communities with tools for thriving in mind, body, spirit, and society.
A Social Entrepreneurship Fellow with Ashoka, Angela’s interdisciplinary expertise includes trauma-informed care, psychological first aid, African holistic health and sciences, wellness real estate, and certification as a Maryland Master Naturalist. Recognized with the Jefferson Public Service Award, she has spent decades advancing civic leadership and sustainable community solutions.
Angela is preparing to pursue doctoral research to further develop scalable models for integrated, community-centered systems that create lasting impact and opportunity.
