Each declaration within the Sisterhood of Greatness Manifesto builds upon the one another to ultimately attain a fullness and wholeness. Let’s begin with how you claim and name yourself. Some of us need to reclaim our dignity.
Every declaration will encourage you to ask 3 critical questions:
What does this mean to me or relate to me?
How does this strengthen my journey?
How can I commit to incorporating this into my daily life and interactions?
Keep in mind that every word used has meaning. I will attempt to break it down, so there is clarity, however, I encourage you to ask questions, make comments or suggestions. This is designed to create a civil discourse that leads to understanding while planting seeds of empowerment.
Declaration # 2 Reclaim Our Dignity
Reclaim our dignity by walking in the spirit of decency and humility regardless of images that show less than our finest.
“We will embrace and face that which pierces our dignity as women and girls, in order to recognize and reshape its effect on our thoughts and expressions.”
We will no longer allow external forces to dictate the choices we make or the actions we take but will empower our intuitive intelligence to be the force that guides us. We are sisters first, regardless of the diversity of life and styles we encompass.
