Have you ever gone to the gym only to observe everyone around you and this feeling of insecurity kicks in?  All of a sudden, you feel as though you don’t fit in and you start to lose the confidence that you had. Fitness is very important to maintain a healthy body and an active lifestyle. However, going to the gym can be very intimidating for most people and that person was definitely me at one point. Have you ever thought about how fashion can 1) play a huge part in motivating you to work out, and 2) boost your self-esteem?

I have noticed that when I feel intimidated to go to the gym or can’t find the motivation to be consistent with working out, I look for cute workout gear such as sports bras, tank tops, leggings, and stylish tennis shoes. It’s all about playing the part!  Wear something comfortable and cute that will give you confidence and make you feel good about yourself. I strongly believe that when you look good, you feel good and you can accomplish any goal you set for yourself.

There are a variety of options to choose from and places to shop for workout clothes. They range from the low price, affordable trendy pieces to the high price, long-lasting quality gear. You have the ability and freedom to pick and choose what you like and what feels most comfortable to you. When you feel great about yourself before going to the gym,  you are more likely to be motivated and excited to workout. It’s also a good reason to go splurge on yourself and add a few new pieces to your wardrobe.
