What is the connection between Sisterhood Agenda’s Girl Band program and “The Voice”? Allegra Miles.
Congratulations to 17-year-old Allegra Miles for successfully passing blind auditions to move on as a contestant on “The Voice,” the popular vocal competition television show.
Allegra participated in Sisterhood Agenda’s Girl Band Program on St. John in 2012 and 2013.
Girl Band was a partnership between Sisterhood Agenda and St. John School of the Arts on the island of St. John.
Girl Band fused self-development and sisterhood into the arts through singing, dancing, socializing, learning to perform individually with confidence as well as work together as a band. During the program process, girls learned how to support and encourage each other in the spirit of sisterhood.
The young singers displayed their talents at regular rehearsals and their grande finale performance at the island’s Light Up the Night cancer prevention fundraising event.
