The event will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Williams Estates | Peppermint Woods Community Center in Middle River. The event is free and open to all residents of mobile home communities throughout Baltimore County.

“This unique giveaway event is not only an opportunity to connect and enjoy one another, but also to highlight the strength, resilience, and value of mobile home communities throughout Baltimore County,” said representatives of the Association.

As preparations continue for this special day, organizers also recognize that affordability and housing stability remain critical concerns across the county. A recent poll conducted by the UMBC Institute of Politics found that the cost of living is overwhelmingly the most important issue facing residents in the State of Maryland.

With several Baltimore County Executive and Council candidates actively engaging the public this election season, affordability has emerged as a key campaign priority. Local leaders and candidates have been invited to attend and engage directly with the community.

Angela D. Coleman, Founder and President of Sisterhood Agenda, shared:
“We want the community to know that we see them, we care, and we will continue working together to advocate for affordable housing rights and to build new affordable homes.”

In addition to distributing clothing, laptop computers, iPhones, and other essential items, the Community Giveaway will serve as a space for meaningful dialogue, an opportunity for leaders to hear directly from residents and better understand the real-life impact of housing policies, particularly within mobile home communities.

Organizers hope the event will inspire collaborative solutions and strengthen efforts to support affordable living for all.

Sisterhood Agenda, H & H Sports Apparel, and the Baltimore County Mobile Homeowners Association look forward to a day filled with connection, conversation, and community pride.

Media and Photo Opportunity:
Members of the media are invited to attend. Interviews with organizers, community members, and local leaders will be available on-site.
