Spring is here! It’s a season when flowers bloom.  We get to wear vibrant colors and feel the sunlight on our faces.

It’s not a secret that 2020 was not the year we were all hoping for. In 2019 spiritual experts, astrologers and feng shui experts said that 2020 will be all about success, growth, and opportunities.

Well, it all broke our hearts when a pandemic hit us.  Instead, it was filled with worry, anguish, emotional turmoil, and anxiety.

The year went by so fast and now, here comes Spring!

Just because we went through something this past year doesn’t mean we no longer pursue, hope, dream, and become resilient. Let’s make this Spring one of the most exciting ones ever.

1. Plant your own vegetable garden.

Just because it’s not safe to go out yet doesn’t mean you can’t have fun this Spring! Explore plant parenting and plant your very own sustainable vegetable or herb garden. Plant your own tomatoes, basil, cucumber, zucchini, or anything you want to.

Wouldn’t it feel satisfying to eat something you planted by your own hands and you cultivated to grow? That would be amazing and healthy, too!

Best of all, you can grow your own food without the harmful toxins and chemicals that are currently present in mass-produced vegetables on the market.

2. Give yourself some love!

Give yourself a total makeover, dye your hair, give it some deep conditioning, scrub your body, give yourself a manicure/pedicure, and enjoy a foot spa at home with this Foot Spa Bath Massager.

Love yourself more this Spring! In fact, you can host a small spa party-with COVID-safety guidelines, of course.

3. Learn arts and crafts like painting.

You can paint, do resin-art, or create a macrame wall design.  If you’re not really good at painting, you can do paint-by-numbers and create a gorgeous painting by following directions and patterns.

You won’t believe how amazing the result will be!  You can get the kit for as low as $8 on Amazon.

4. Go for a drive

A road trip is always a good idea.

Here’s an idea:  take the scenic route and drive to your nearest local view to watch the sunset in your car.

When I feel stressed and claustrophobic from looking at the four corners of my bedroom, going for a drive, and looking at trees and the sunset is one of the best free therapies there is. Playing your favorite chill-out music and while cruising on the road looking at nature’s beauty is very uplifting.

5. Go for a hike.

Hiking won’t expose you to other people.  It’s great exercise and you’ll get lots of Vitamin D!

You can do a beginner’s hike that will only take an hour (max) to reach the summit or to see an amazing view without even reaching the peak.

6. Convert your boring corner into a cozy reading nook!

Get a hammock online and install it in a boring corner of your house.

It would be great if there’s a window but if there isn’t, you can place creative decors such as paintings, fairy lights, and hanging plants to make the space vibrant and cozy.

7. Master a new skill this season.

Try cooking sumptuous meals or mixing some refreshing cocktails! You can also make it a commitment to upskilling this Spring and dial it up a notch with your profession using free online courses out there from Udemy and even Harvard.

Make this season count and reach your fullest potential!
